Emma Bate

Emma is a Director overseeing the Regulatory Advice and Commercial departments. She joined the ICO in 2017 from private practice where she had practiced as a data protection lawyer for 20 years. Emma has been leading on the ICO’s work in relation to international transfers and the development of both the IDTA and the TRA tool.
