Alexandra Geese

Alexandra Geese has served as a Member of the European Parliament since 2019. She is the digital expert of the Greens/EFA group, a co-founder of the Eurostack initiative and a leading advocate for digital sovereignty. As a key negotiator of the Digital Services Act, she has shaped legislation that strengthens Europe’s ability to set its own rules for digital platforms and online spaces.

 

In Parliament, Alexandra Geese is a member of the Committee on Industry, Research and Energy (ITRE, the Committee on Women’s Rights and Gender Equality (FEMM) and the Special Committee on the European Democracy Shield (EUDS). She serves as a substitute member of the Committee on the Internal Market and Consumer Protection (IMCO) and as a full member of the US delegation.
