Bojan Božović
Bojan Božović graduated from the Faculty of Law of the University of Montenegro and received his master’s degree from the Faculty of Law of the University of Novi Sad.
He is Minister of Justice from July 2024. Previously he was State Secretary in the Ministry of Human and Minority Rights, the Ministry of Justice and the Ministry of European Affairs. He was engaged as an assistant at the Faculty of Law of the University of Donja Gorica since 2008 on the following subjects: Public International Law, Human Rights, Private International Law, International Humanitarian Law and EU Law.
During his academic career, he trained at numerous institutes, of which we highlight his stay at the Max Planck Institute for Comparative and International Private Law in Hamburg (Max-Planck-Institut für ausländisches und internationales Privatrecht Hamburg) in 2015 as a scholarship for gifted young scientists.
In addition to his engagement at the faculty, he also gained practical experience through work in the NGO sector, law firms, and as an expert and consultant on projects of the Council of Europe, GIZ, and ILO.
