Partnership Terms & Conditions

The Privacy Symposium (the “Conference”) aims to support international dialogue, cooperation, and knowledge sharing on data governance, regulatory compliance, and innovative technologies. The Conference is organised annually by an Organising Committee in collaboration with partner organisations.

Partners are organisations invited by the Organisising Committee to support the promotion of the Conference and contribute to its community. The Partner and the Organising Committee agree to work in a spirit of cooperation to support the visibility, outreach, and success of the Conference.

Becoming a Partner does not entail any transfer of intellectual property rights, liability, or ownership with regard to the Conference. The Partner and the Organiser retain full ownership of their respective intellectual property rights and commit to respecting each other’s intellectual property rights.

 PARTNER’S BENEFITS

As an official Partner of the Conference, the Partner benefits from:

  • official recognition and visibility, including the Partner’s name and logo featured on the Conference website with a direct link to the Partner’s website, as well as visibility across relevant Conference communications;
  • a dedicated promotional code enabling eligible members of the Partner’s network to benefit from a discount when registering for the Conference;
  • opportunities to contribute to the Conference programme, including the possibility to propose topics, sessions, and/or speakers for consideration. Programme contributions remain subject to review and approval by the Conference Programme Committee;
  • engagement with the wider community of Conference Partners, including participation in partner coordination and exchange around the Conference, its programme, and related activities.

PARTNER’S COMMITMENT

In return, the Partner agrees to support the visibility and outreach of the Conference through its relevant communication channels and networks. This includes:

  • appointing at least one representative to receive Conference updates and participate in partner communications through the dedicated Partners’ mailing list;
  • sharing key Conference updates, including the promotional code, with the Partner’s internal members, network, or community, including at least one dedicated communication through a newsletter, member communication, professional network, or closed community channel;
  • promoting the Conference through the Partner’s public channels, including a dedicated announcement on the Partner’s website, as well as relevant social media posts and amplification of Conference communications;
  • providing brief updates on completed communication activities, such as links, screenshots, or other relevant confirmation. Where an update has not been provided, the Organiser may contact the Partner to request confirmation of completed activities.

Communication activities should follow the Conference communication plan and materials provided by the Organiser, taking into account the Partner’s audience, communication channels, and involvement in the Conference.

The Partner and the Organiser agree to maintain appropriate communication throughout the partnership and to inform each other of relevant changes that may affect the implementation of the partnership.
